New lung cell type discovered.

Cystic fibrosis is a genetic-based disorder primarily affecting the lungs.  The gene affected by cystic fibrosis is CFTR (cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator), controlling the movement of electrolytes in and out of cells.
